Reductionprint

The technique ‘reduction method’, also called the technique of the ‘lost form’, involves carving a single printing block in stages to build up layers of color. With this technique, a little more is carved away from the printing block after each layer of colour, so that only one edition can be printed. Once the print is sold out, it will never be available again.
