Goldenrod (Solidago canadensis) is often brewed as a fragrant tea to support the kidneys and reduce inflammation. I use its golden blossoms in tea blends to help with seasonal allergies, water retention, or simply to enjoy its uplifting, earthy aroma. It’s a bright, sunny herb with a surprisingly balancing effect.

Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) is a traditional herbal remedy known for its soothing effects on the respiratory system. I use its soft, woolly leaves to make a gentle tea that helps ease coughs, clear the lungs, and support breathing – especially during the colder months that are arriving soon.

Created using the ‘reduction method,’ this technique involves carving a single lino block in stages to build up layers of color. Here 5 layers have been created.

Reduction Print

Since this two plants grows wild in my garden next to another, I printed both plants at the same time and using the same colour scheme. I’m offering them together, as they belong together, for a reduced price.

All my artwork is handmade and original with a mix of limited and open edition linocut prints. I design, carve, press and pull the prints in my studio in the Laurentides, Canada.

Please note: Because of its handmade nature there may be tiny variations to the picture. Be this colour, evenness of ink or other small differences.
