Community

Handmade linocut print

Dimensions: 7 x 15 inch (18 x 40 cm)
Printed on lokta paper using Caligo oil-based relief ink

This print is called “Community” because it resulted from a group project, and the group chose the name themselves. It symbolizes that together we stand strong, and that all life is somehow connected. This is a vast ecosystem where everyone matters, even those so small that you cannot see them with your bare eyes.

Over the last weeks of October I did my own version of “Inktober” as a challenge to create 13 miniprints with the motives that my followers chose. And wow! It was such an amazing experience! All your ideas let me create this final work. Without you it wouldn’t be like this!

Thank you su much for all your ideas and to keep me up motivated

All my artwork is handmade and original with a mix of limited and open edition linocut prints. I design, carve, press and pull the prints in my studio in the Laurentides, Canada.

Please note: Because of its handmade nature there may be tiny variations to the picture. Be this colour, evenness of ink or other small differences.
