When I was returning from travels with a heart full of experiences, my mind was clouded by an impossible decision. The city felt too vast, too overwhelming, pressing down with its weight of endless possibilities. In that moment of feeling lost, there was only one refuge left: the quiet space within.

During a meditation, when the world finally fell silent, they appeared. Two ravens perched together on a single branch. They were looking outward, in opposite directions, each keeping the back of the other clear. In that instant I understood.

This is what true partnership means. Not always facing the same direction, but being there for the other one. One watches the path ahead while the other guards what’s behind. One dreams while the other keeps watch. One leaps while the other provides the solid ground to return to.

This print embodies the sacred trust we find in our deepest relationships. With lovers, friends, family, or even with ourselves. They remind us that we don’t have to carry the weight of awareness alone.

All my artwork is handmade and original with a mix of limited and open edition linocut prints. I design, carve, press and pull the prints in my studio in the Laurentides, Canada.

Please note: Because of its handmade nature there may be tiny variations to the picture. Be this colour, evenness of ink or other small differences.
