Indian Summer

Handmade linocut print

Dimensions: 10 x 15 inch (26 x 40 cm)
Printed on lokta paper using Caligo oil-based relief ink

A print for the beauty of the Laurentien Mountains, one of the oldest mountain ranges on earth, formed around one billion years ago. Here you can play outside in rivers, lakes and waterfalls, forage wild herbs and mushrooms like chanterelles. When you hike on the top of mountains that were once 6 times the hight, you’ll be immersed by the beauty of the wild. And when the summer season ends everything turns into this powerful red!

Created using the ‘puzzle method,’ this technique involves cutting lino block into multiple pieces to create colors in one print.

Multiblock Print

This print is a part of the work ‘Trésor‘. I created as well a Winter and Summer Edition of it.

All my artwork is handmade and original with a mix of limited and open edition linocut prints. I design, carve, press and pull the prints in my studio in the Laurentides, Canada.

Please note: Because of its handmade nature there may be tiny variations to the picture. Be this colour, evenness of ink or other small differences.
