Relief Print – Cardinalino

Handmade linocut print

Dimensions: Letter
Printed on craft paper using Caligo oil-based relief ink

A bright red cardinal sits among delicate cherry blossoms, creating a beautiful contrast between the bird and the soft flowers.

The cardinal is a striking songbird known for its vibrant red feathers and distinctive crest. Males are especially eye-catching with their bright plumage, while females have softer, warm-toned hues. Found across North and Central America, cardinals are often seen perched among trees, singing their clear, melodic songs. They are symbols of vitality, love, and good luck, making them a favorite among bird watchers and nature lovers alike.

All my artwork is handmade and original with a mix of limited and open edition linocut prints plus digitally printed greeting cards. The prints are designed, made, pressed and pulled in my studio in the Laurentides, Canada.

Please note: Because of its handmade nature there may be tiny variations to the picture- be this colour, evenness of ink or other small differences.
