Migration is a natural right.<\/p>\n

All my artwork is handmade and original with a mix of limited and open edition linocut prints. I design, carve, press and pull the prints in my studio in the Laurentides, Canada.<\/p>\n

Every year, I see the birds come and go. Migration is a natural right. A right to survive, a right to go where we can be. My father fled the civil war in Lebanon, my godmother fled the war in Ukraine. Many have no other choice. But I only moved to Canada for love.<\/p>\n

I am afraid, afraid in these times when hatred is growing louder. In my home country. In my neighboring country. \u201cNobody is illegal on stolen land\u201d keeps coming back to me. And then I see the Canada geese flying across borders that are only man-made. Do you see them too?<\/p>\n

Each print is designed, carved, and hand-printed by me in my small workshop in the Laurentians. Because of it’s handmade nature, slight variations in color and print may occur. These small differences are exactly what make hand-printed works so special and beautiful.<\/p>\n

I print on handmade Lokta paper, and each sheet has its own unique character. This makes every piece truly one of a kind.<\/p>\n
