Jedes Jahr sehe ich die V\u00f6gel kommen und gehen. Migration ist ein nat\u00fcrliches Recht. Ein Recht zu \u00fcberleben, ein Recht, dorthin zu gehen, wo wir sein k\u00f6nnen. Mein Vater floh vor dem B\u00fcrgerkrieg im Libanon, meine Patin floh vor dem Krieg in der Ukraine. Viele haben keine andere Wahl. Aber ich bin nur aus Liebe nach Kanada gezogen.<\/p>\n

Ich habe Angst, Angst in diesen Zeiten, in denen der Hass immer lauter wird. In meinem Heimatland. In meinem Nachbarland. \u201eNiemand ist illegal auf gestohlenem Land\u201c kommt mir immer wieder in den Sinn. Und dann sehe ich die Kanadag\u00e4nse \u00fcber Grenzen fliegen, die nur von Menschen geschaffen sind. Siest du sie auch?<\/p>\n

Jeder Druck wird von mir in meiner kleinen Werkstatt in den Laurentides entworfen, geschnitzt und von Hand gedruckt. Da es sich um handgefertigte Produkte handelt, kann es zu leichten Abweichungen in Farbe und Druck kommen. Genau diese kleinen Unterschiede machen handgedruckte Werke so besonders und sch\u00f6n.<\/p>\n

Ich drucke auf handgesch\u00f6pftem Lokta-Papier, und jedes Blatt hat seinen ganz eigenen Charakter. Dadurch ist jedes St\u00fcck ein echtes Unikat.<\/p>\n
