Reduktionsdruck<\/em><\/p>\n

Es gibt so viel \u00fcber die Gew\u00f6hnliche Seidenpflanze zu entdecken:<\/p>\n

Nicht nur seine jungen Triebe sind im Fr\u00fchling essbar und bieten einen frischen, nat\u00fcrlichen Snack, sondern auch seine H\u00fclsen, die wie Gurken aussehen und schmecken. Im Sommer sorgen seine leuchtenden Bl\u00fcten nicht nur f\u00fcr Sch\u00f6nheit, sondern spielen auch eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Unterst\u00fctzung der Monarchfalter, indem sie ihnen Nektar und einen Ort zum Eierlegen bieten. Ohne die Seidenpflanze h\u00e4tten Monarchfalter Schwierigkeiten zu \u00fcberleben.<\/p>\n

Im Herbst entwickeln die Samen diese weichen, seidigen Fasern. Die winzigen Fallschirme helfen den Samen, im Wind davonzuschweben. Diese Fasern sind nicht nur faszinierend, sondern auch praktisch, da sie als vegane, nachhaltige Alternative zu Daunen in Isolierungen verwendet werden.<\/p>\n

Noch beeindruckender ist, dass die Fasern der Pflanze zu Papier verarbeitet werden k\u00f6nnen! Dies unterstreicht die Vielseitigkeit der Seidenpflanze, die \u00fcber das hinausgeht, was die meisten Menschen wissen!<\/p>\n

Die Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit, N\u00fctzlichkeit und stille Sch\u00f6nheit dieser Pflanze inspirieren mich zutiefst.<\/p>\n

Alle meine Kunstwerke sind handgefertigt und Originale, eine Mischung aus limitierten und unlimitierten Linolschnitten. Die Drucke werden in meinem Atelier in den Laurentides, Kanada, entworfen, geschnitzt und gedruckt.<\/p>\n

Handgedruckter Linolschnitt auf handgesch\u00f6pftem Lokta Papier<\/em><\/p>\n

Die Gew\u00f6hnliche Seidenpflanze ist nicht nur eine bemerkenswert vielseitige Pflanze, sondern hat auch eine so feminine Ausstrahlung, eine stille Sch\u00f6nheit die mich tiefs ber\u00fchrt hat.<\/p>\n

Dieser Druck wurde mit der \u201eReduktionsmethode\u201c hergestellt. Bei dieser Technik wird ein einzelner Linolblock in mehreren Schritten geschnitzt, um Farbschichten aufzubauen. Hier wurden 6 Schichten geschaffen. Bei dieser Technik wird nach jeder Farbschicht etwas mehr vom Druckblock weggeschnitzt, sodass nur eine Auflage gedruckt werden kann. Sobald der Druck ausverkauft ist, wird er nie wieder erh\u00e4ltlich sein.<\/p>\n

Jeder Druck wird von mir in meiner kleinen Werkstatt in den Laurentides entworfen, geschnitzt und von Hand gedruckt. Da es sich um handgefertigte Produkte handelt, kann es zu leichten Abweichungen in Farbe und Druck kommen. Genau diese kleinen Unterschiede machen handgedruckte Werke so besonders und sch\u00f6n.<\/p>\n

Ich drucke auf handgesch\u00f6pftem Lokta-Papier, und jedes Blatt hat seinen ganz eigenen Charakter. Dadurch ist jedes St\u00fcck ein echtes Unikat.<\/p>\n
