Was ist Blockdruck?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr meine botanischen Kunst nutzte ich eine sehr alte Drucktechnik. Sie kommt aus China und wurde im 7. Jahrhundert erfunden. Sie ist so besonders, da sie die Welt revolutionierte. Die Herstellung von B\u00fcchern wurde durch sie wesentlich vereinfacht und somit Wissen an mehr Menschen verbreitet.

Ich schnitze mein Motiv in eine Linol- oder Holzplatte. All die Bereiche, die sp\u00e4ter wei\u00df bleiben sollen, muss ich dabei vorsichtig mit meinem Schnitzmesser entfernen. Ich arbeite spiegelverkehrt, da das Bild wie bei einem Stempel erst durch Druck entsteht. Nach Fertigstellung der Druckplatte mische ich die gew\u00e4hlten Farben und trage sie mit einem Roller auf die Druckplatte auf. Dann \u00fcbertrage ich mein Werk auf handgesch\u00f6pftes Papier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jedes Blatt handgesch\u00f6pftes Papier unterscheidet sich von einem anderen Blatt handgesch\u00f6pftem Papier, und jeder manuelle Druck unterscheidet sich von einem anderen. Das macht den Blockdruck so besonders und einzigartig. Jedes Werk ist ein Unikat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Um das Motiv auf das Papier zu \u00fcbertragen, \u00fcbe ich Druck auf die Linol- oder Holzplatte aus. Das kann ganz einfach mit Werkzeugen wie einem sogenannten \u201eBaren\u201c oder sogar mit einem Holzl\u00f6ffel gemacht werden. Das ist aber ziemlich anstrengend.

Im letzten Jahr wurden nicht nur meine Auflagen gr\u00f6\u00dfer sondern auch die Formate meiner Drucke. Deshalb begann ich nach einer Alternative zu suchen, die mir die anstrengende Druckarbeit erleichtert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach langer Recherche habe ich schlie\u00dflich eine einfache und kosteng\u00fcnstige L\u00f6sung gefunden, die sich sehr gut f\u00fcr Linol- und Holzschnitte eignet.
