Ich bin Sarah und habe in den weiten W\u00e4ldern Kanadas meine Heimat gefunden. In der wilden Natur der Laurentides werde ich langsamer und finde Verbindung zur Sch\u00f6nheit der einfachen Dinge. Dass ich an diesem Ort leben kann, erf\u00fcllt mich mit gro\u00dfer Dankbarkeit. Die Bewahrung seiner Vielfalt ist ein zentraler Impuls meines k\u00fcnstlerischen Schaffens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meine Liebe zur Natur ist tief verwurzelt, deshalb entstehen in meiner Arbeit vor allem botanische Motive. Das uralte Wissen \u00fcber Pflanzen, Pilze und Lebewesen sind eine unersch\u00f6pfliche Quelle der Inspiration f\u00fcr mich. Ich glaube, dass diese Faszination und dieses Staunen \u00fcber die Natur etwas Universelles ist, unabh\u00e4ngig davon, wo wir zu Hause sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auf Spazierg\u00e4ngen mit meinem Hund im Wald, bei der Gartenarbeit, beim Entdecken von Heilpflanzen oder wenn ich unter einem Baum sitze und den V\u00f6geln lausche, nehme ich mir bewusst Zeit zum Beobachten. Und dann verwandle ich das, was ich sehe, mit der alten Technik des Blockdrucks in visuelle Kunst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
